The chapters are split between six points of view: Evan, the fixer, Holly, the accident victim, her daughter, Savannah, Holly’s nosy neighbors Libby and Andy, and to top it all of, mysterious Jack. The driver of the hit-and-run vehicle has much to protect, and he calls in his fixer, Evan, to make Holly a deal she can’t refuse, putting Holly and her daughter in grave danger. Holly survives, but her husband dies at the scene. Holly and her husband are victims of a deadly hit and run.
